Customer Service Officer

We are hiring a customer service representative to manage customer queries and complaints. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Knowing our products and services inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Greet, communicate with and welcome clients
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Answer all customer's questions and address complaints
  • Answer all incoming calls, redirect them when needed
  • Systematically filing important company documents
  • Service customers over the phone and practice telephone courtesies at all times.
  • Practicing quality in all aspects of the job to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure good customer retention by providing excellent and professional services
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Consistently cross-sell and upsell the company's financial products and services during customer interaction.

Requirements
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria:

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree / HND qualification in related field,
  • Solid phone selling with excellent oral communication, interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Must be creative and have a dynamic attitude to work
  • Acceptable level of written English.
  • Highly motivated, matured and committed individual.
  • Resourceful, proactive and able to work independently to produce high-quality technical or professional work.
  • Getting results through personal proficiency.
  • Basic PC knowledge, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications.
  • Fast learner and able to adopt stressful environment and fast moving work atmosphere.
  • High level of numeracy.
