We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: Project Management Officer

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Planned Start Date: 01/12/2022

Main Responsibilities
Project Management:

  • Responsible for management and delivery of projects assigned to him/her in terms of scope, time and budget
  • Support the portfolio management decision process through the creation of project charters, scope documents, risk assessments and budgets
  • Lead efforts in developing work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Keeps track of all phases of the project lifecycle and monitors milestone completion Develop and maintain project documents, e.g. project brief, project initiation, project planning, change requests, etc
  • Executing the defined project plan to ensure that the project team completes their assignments according to plan
  • Planning for contingencies and report project baseline variances.
  • Identify and anticipate risks and issues. Facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation
  • Contribute to management of project risk and ensure that a risk register is in place before at all level before going live.
  • Assess inter-project dependencies and gauge the financial impact and risk of the project
  • Support in the definition of project quality standards and ensure these standards are adhered to during project execution and delivery
  • Closing the project to formalize acceptance of the project result and release project resources
  • Measure and report on value achieved and business benefits realized through projects
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to team members
  • Provide performance feedback for project team members
  • Organize regular meetings with Project Team to monitor and discuss project progress, as well as providing performance feedback for project team members.

Business Alignment:

  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly reports are updated on time and ensure that all reviewed policy and/or procedures is placed on the SharePoint.
  • Established Minutes of all PPG steering meetings and archive them in an electronic file
  • Report every year on the revision of all existing policy to ensure update being done every (year or 3 years) base on the Advans group requirement.
  • Create or review report files as the need arises
  • Coordinate with branches in policies that are outdated and inconsistent with the practices
  • Submission of report to the compliance to ensure alignment of all policies to the regulatory requirements.

Profile
Person Specification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant course of study from accredited University
  • 1 - 3 years experience in IT & project management
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Reporting and briefing skills to senior business stakeholders
  • Project management certification is an added advantage
  • Use of MS Office is a must with excellent analytic and presentation skills.
