Basic Requirements

Applicants should-

  • Have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • Have at least 5-7 years cognate experience preferably from a financial institution.
  • Be able to work with software languages; HTML, CSS, JAVA, PHP, and PHYTON.
  • Should understand Software Development, and Database Management.
  • Should have understanding of Ethical Hacking.
  • Microsoft SQL certification is necessary.
  • Be vast in computer hardware, repairs, inter-networking and configuration.
  • Be able to do LAN, VLAN, and WAN tasting and configuration.
  • Have a fair knowledge of running server setups (MICROSOFT and LINUX), mail server, HYPER V, raid, and storage.
  • Have financial skills including budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Have Planning and Time Management skills.
  • Have Effective Communication and Human Relations skills.
  • Have Critical Thinking and Analysis, Tenacity and Ethics.

Job Description

Serving as the Head of Information Technology, you will be leading the company’s technology strategy, execution, and operations. Additionally, the head of the IT department will be focused on developing in-house skillsets and managing key vendor relationships. He will be a champion for defining, scaling, and operating processes along with project management excellence.

  • Manage technology services that meet operational requirements of the organization.
  • Co-ordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with minimal downtime.
  • Provide leadership in technology portfolio for enablement and innovation
  • Coordinate and provide support to IT officers and other technicians for optimum performance.
  • Deliver appropriate personnel actions and training programs to ensure high quality professional staff performance in the area(s) of oversight.
  • Develop and oversee SMART goals for hardware, software, and storage.
  • Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.
  • Provide technical leadership on a variety of highly specialized project-related activities requiring expertise in specific technical areas for core information technology systems and services.
  • Drive innovation for front office or core business operations by recommending viable technologies
  • Manage a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Develop key performance indicators and SLAs in lieu of requirement of stakeholders.
  • Develop policies for internal IT operations to drive attainment of SLAs.
  • Define the enterprise architecture in conjunction with current and future requirements.
  • Review vendor contracts and coordinate IT purchases (hardware, software and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs.
  • Participate in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure effective operation of an organization.
  • Participate in development of IT Service Catalog offerings, Service Level Agreements, and Operating Level Agreements consistent with the needs of the organization.
  • Participate as a member of the IT management team in planning, problem resolution, and reviewing department performance.
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
