Job Summary


  • We are seeking an experienced HR/Admin Officer to join our team.
  • As an HR/Admin Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks and HR functions of the company.
  • This includes maintaining employee records, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring the overall smooth running of HR and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee records and update staff files for both existing and new staff
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Oversee the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, managing the hiring process, and ensuring the right staff is recruited for the right position and function
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs and develop training and development plans
  • Ensure the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations of all constituted government authorities
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services
  • Provide orientation to newly recruited staff regarding the company's policies, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment
  • Oversee the health and safety of all employees and review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Evaluate employee performance periodically and develop staff appraisal systems
  • Maintain and update company databases and organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • 2-4 years of post NYSC experience in an HR/Admin role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
