Job Position: Refinery Operator
Job Location: Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • This position will be responsible for operating oil refinery production equipment meeting the quality and productivity requirements that ensure on-time supply of safe products to the customer.

Key Result Areas (KRA)  
The key result areas of this role are:

  • Drive Productivity and Production target achievement in assigned refinery
  • Efficient utilization of raw material (No contamination/zero oil spillage)
  • Quality of machine handling (No production induced machine downtime)
  • Machine production capacity utilization and Quality of production output

Responsibilities

  • Performs all work within the safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
  • Operate refining, bleaching, and deodorization production process as per standard, control and report deviations
  • Ensure quality and food safety checks compliance, as established by company policies and procedures.
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on operating equipment.
  • Performs general labor, housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities as required.
  • Maintains daily records and logs.

The Person

  • A Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng.)  or HND in engineering is required for this role.
  • 2 to 5 years proven refinery operator work experience preferably in edible oil refinery
  • Deep knowledge of production management and Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Familiarity with FSMS Compliance Guidelines
  • Experience and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards
  • Must be residing or willing to relocate to Anambra State

Job PositionAssistant Warehouse Officer

Job Location: Onitsha, Anambra

General Responsibilities

  • Assist with the operation of a modern warehouse including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of materials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inventory control of finished goods warehouse.
  • Responsible for the assembling, loading, and dispatching of finished goods
  • Generates daily warehouse stock count to enhance sales and decisions making
  • Responsible for preparation of customers waybill.
  • Keeps detailed record and generates report that enables management to understand the warehouse activities weekly and monthly.
  • Monitors the operations of five different depots and reports to the management
  • Participate in month stock count.
  • Effectively supervises warehouse staffs to ensure target goals are achieved.

The Person

  • OND or HND required for this role.
  • 2 to 5 years proven Warehouse/Supply Chain working experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
  • Operating and managing technical equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.

The Person

Job Position: Plastic Production Supervisor 
Job Location: Anambra

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and direct the mould changing processes
  • Troubleshoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks
  • Ability to handle material with little defect and zero colour variation.
  • Assure that mould setup, changeovers, and housekeeping standards are met
  • Ensure new job start-ups run correctly, making any necessary adjustments
  • Work with production personnel to ensure spare parts meet requirements and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meeting the production goals
  • Verify process parameters and implement changes, as appropriate, to improve cycle times
  • Inspecting parts to ensure they meet the customer specifications
  • Stop production to correct any quality issues.
  • Review and inspect machines daily for maintenance issues and report to the maintenance Shift Head when necessary.
  • Monitor, train, and coach subordinate to ensure they are following proper procedures.
  • Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures
  • Comply with all safety, quality and work rules and regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 2-5 years previous Blow and injection moulding process experience is required
  • Proficient skills in reading, writing and arithmetic are necessary
  • Strong mechanical abilities & knowledge- preferably in the Plastics Industry, with experience in Blow and injection Moulding
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; very detail-oriented
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong communication skills interacting with all levels of a company’s hierarchy
  • Must be residing or willing to relocate to Anambra State
