Dominion Consulting Limited - Our client is a prestigious Fashion house, evolving into fashion academy based on popular demand in Lagos with clients across Nigeria and abroad. A luxury fashion brand that specializes in all forms of custom-made clothes, bespoke haute couture, ready to wear and luxury fabrics.

Job Position: Business Developer

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • The role involves supporting the business in building its reputation, revenue and working closely with the MD on other areas including negotiations, administration and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Participating in exhibitions, shows, conferences, etc as a representative of the brand.
  • Advising on strategic business partnerships, both local and international
  • Taking full ownership from beginning to the end of the sales or partnership cycle.
  • Determining cross-selling opportunities.
  • Working closely with trainers and students of the fashion academy
  • Managing and growing the digital presence of the brand
  • Creating strategic content for the brand.
  • Following up with production of all clients’ orders
  • Developing strong customer relationships in order to generate a high volume of prospective clients.
  • Working closely with the MD, playing a key role in shaping the brand`s strategy.
  • Organizing photoshoot.

Job Requirement / Skills

  • A Degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, Business Communications or a related field from a top university.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, B2C, B2B Sales, Marketing or similar roles.
  • The role requires a candidate with strong leadership acumen as it is very demanding.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with a variety of clients.
  • A background in eCommerce, Luxury, Fashion or other creative industries is essential.
  • A proven track record of winning new business to deliver growth.
  • A strong brand and product sensibility.
  • Strong digital competence across a range digital devices and apps including [Microsoft 365 applications, digital communication platforms (e.g Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, Social Media)
  • Ability to plan and organise people, events and activities involving the brand.
  • Ability to solve problems as part of a team and decide on and plan appropriate solutions.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
