Job Position: Senior Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Architect

Job Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure, delivering quality solutions to drive the cloud first strategy. Responsible for deploying overseeing cloud computing strategy
• Architects, designs, facilitates, leads and directs cloud initiatives
• Responsible for setting up all the components required for successful cloud computing
• Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments
• Ensure all Cloud solutions abide by regulatory, compliance and security policies
• Provision of repetitive cloud services either through internal tools/processes or by leveraging external provider's tools/processes while maintaining organizational control over those applications in the cloud environment.
• Identifies any risks posed by cloud computing services and build risk-mitigation-mapping matrix for coping with and overcoming such risks

Technical Experience

• Expertise in implementing best practices for cloud system design, infrastructure integrations, application development practices and application principles
• Involved with application life cycle management initiatives within the business - refactoring or replacing legacy applications with cloud applications
• Creation and delivery of a modern governance framework for cloud usage.
• Extensive experience in Cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring
• Expertise in implementing best practices for cloud system design, infrastructure integrations, application development practices and application principles
• Involved with application life cycle management initiatives within the business - refactoring or replacing legacy applications with cloud applications
• Creation and delivery of a modern governance framework for cloud usage.

Job Position: UNIX (Kubernetes) Systems Administrator

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• As a UNIX system administrator, you will be responsible for the management of Kubernetes clusters and the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our UNIX systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot server errors, install new system hardware, respond to user issues, and monitor the performance of the network.
• To ensure success as a UNIX system administrator, you should have in-depth knowledge of UNIX operating systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and high-level knowledge of Kubernetes and computer hardware.
• A skilled UNIX system administrator will ensure the smooth running of the company’s computer system and quickly respond to breakdowns and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on a Unix environment.
• Improve Unix Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Work with other engineers to troubleshoot Kubernetes issues.
• Develop Kubernetes-based solutions.
• Installing and upgrading UNIX system software on company servers and computers.
• Creating UNIX file systems.
• Setting up and maintaining UNIX user accounts and access management systems.

Requirements
UNIX System Administrator Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience on UNIX Kubernetes.
• Previous experience as a UNIX system administrator.
• Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.
• Detailed knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, UNIX commands, and file manipulation.
• Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and LINUX shell scripting.
• Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.
• Understanding of backup procedures and storage management.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware systems including circuit boards, memory modules, and processors.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
