Oilserv Limited was incorporated in 1992 and commenced operations in 1995.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Civil Engineer

Job Location: Abuja

Key Roles and Responsibilities


  • Oversee all civil-related activities on the project and ensure works are carried out safely, timely, and to the required specifications/quality.
  • Follow-up of the project files and documentation, including maintaining the standard project files structure on server/SharePoint. Responsible to implement at its level all required measures to ensure quality delivery of all specifications & materials.
  • Able to perform at a basic level the functions of organizing its own work in agreement with other engineers in its own discipline.
  • Demonstrate commitment to HSE goal zero in all construction activities
  • Responsible to execute all required Civil / Structural related engineering works covering the Scope of Work for all projects executed by Oilserv.
  • Responsible for information exchange between the Civil/Structural Team and all other discipline Teams within the project at its own level.
  • Identify and report to the Station Construction Manager and Civil Lead on all events, and requests, which are not compliant with the project scope of work.
  • Participate in weekly engineering meetings, based on project requirements.

Requirements (Education / Training / Experience)

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Second Class) or HND (Upper Credit) in Civil, Construction, Building Engineering or other relevant Engineering Degree.
  • COREN, PMP.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, EPC company with a track record of the construction of Oil & Gas facilities.

2.) Materials Management Manager

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • The Materials Management Manager will be expected to provide strategic and operational direction and guidance for the organization's Material Management, Warehouse, and Inventory management functions.

Requirements (Education / Training / Experience)

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or Business.
  • Minimum of 15 years cognate experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite especially excel.
  • Experience in the use of SAP MM Module & WMS.
  • Membership of any relevant professional institution e.g., CILT, CIPS, etc.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ensure compliance with Materials management processes and procedures.
  • Develop strategies for achieving corporate excellence in materials management
  • Provide guidance to team and ensure project requests are treated with the urgency it deserves.
  • Ensure prompt physical interface with the logistics team.
  • Drive the process of material inspection of all delivered materials in a timely manner, and in line with the materials receipt process.
  • Ensure the timely processing of material requisitions, work orders, for issuance of requested materials/spare parts to the end users.
  • Ensure daily update of all store records for each material as required
  • Ensure prompt generation of Goods Receipt Note (GRN) through SAP, for all materials received into the warehouse.

3.) QA / QC Civil Inspector

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the quality system and plan are fully and effectively implemented by regular surveillance, conducting internal and external audits and performing individual system compliance audits.
  • To Identify and prevent quality related problems. Initiate and provide or recommend corrective actions and ensure implementation.
  • Complying with and enforcing the requirements of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Handle project quality inspection & testing activities, complying with the requirements of the project specification and the requirements of the applicable international standards & codes.
  • Preparation of a detailed QA/QC activities reports on site (as define in the contract) with distribution to QA/QC Coordinator and the Document Controller.
  • Preparation of request for inspections with all necessary attachments.
  • Coordinating with the construction engineers and client inspectors for clearing designated inspections (Hold and Witness Points).
  • Preparing and resolving site work queries with client
  • Preparing test schedules, frequency of test and sampling related to approved Quality control program
  • Raising non-conformance reports for any violation.
  • Follow up all quality functions as per approved quality records, inspection typical test plan, check list etc.
  • Preparing weekly and bi-weekly inspection look ahead schedules and Inspection reports.
  • Conduct inspection on all materials received at site and ensure materials to be used confirming to contract plans and specifications.
  • Preparing vendors' evaluation reports on the basis of their quality, delivery, price and response.
  • Marking various types of field changes on drawings. Preparing daily inspection reports on field activities.
  • Quality field such as: soil testing & compaction prior to concrete pouring for load bearing and non load bearing foundations.
  • Perform pre-planned periodic and random audits to measure the overall effectiveness of the Quality Assurance program on site. Ensure pre-qualification of Subcontractors in conjunction with QA/QC guidelines.

Requirements (Education / Training / Experience)

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Civil Engineering or Science Related Course
  • COREN, NSE.
  • A minimum of Ten (10) years QA/QC working experience in Oil and Gas industry.

4.) Project Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering/design execution, planning, and interface and ensure that activities are completed on schedule and within the budget.
  • Prepare project execution and quality plans, projects plan of works, initial projects safety review, initial projects environmental review, and project control system.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and other discipline engineers and ensure consistency in execution of project management activities.
  • Organize and conduct project meetings and technical and progress reviews. Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Possess sound judgment; highly developed management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation/training, oral and written communication skills; excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong technical and design skills.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Proficiency in the following required: HDD feasibility, reporting, geotechnical investigations, soil borings/sampling, laboratory testing parameters, conceptual and detailed design, design and construction specifications, field workspace and logistical requirements, constructability, and construction inspection.
  • Build and manage credibility with stakeholders and delivery team.
  • Continually manage, train and coach other team members to become self-sufficient in all relevant technical and non- technical areas.
  • Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and the environment. Report any problems to your manager.
  • Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies. Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with multi-disciplinary teams; and, deal with complex issues and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret design reports, recognize problems and define and evaluate solutions.
  • Ability to contribute to business growth.
  • Monitor various gauges during the operation of vehicle.

Requirements (Education / Training / Experience)

  • A minimum of B.Sc in Mechanical, Engineering discipline, Mathematics or Physics will be an advantage.
  • NSE or project management qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Engineer
