Learning & Development Consultant (Training Content Development)

Following her business expansion, our client, a professional services firm with international affiliations, seeks to fill some vacant positions.

POSITION SUMMARY


The position will conduct needs assessment, then research for curricula content to support the intended course goals and outcomes; Collaborate with stakeholders from across the organization (e.g. Subject Matter Experts) to design and develop learning solutions that will meet the defined needs and demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles and leverage current learning trends. Will develop training curricula using adult learning principles and design practices. Conduct content research including, independent research, working with subject matter experts, and developing competencies. Carry out training content materials development including drafting facilitator guides, creating participant materials, PowerPoints, and transfer of learning materials for face-to-face classes, webinars, instructor-led distance learning, online courses, as well as supporting subject matter experts and faculty in developing training in all synchronous and asynchronous learning formats.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University-level education
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language (proficiency in other languages is welcome)
  • Knowledge of the following tools the team uses; Adobe CC suite with emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro; Office 365: PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel.
  • Knowledge of other SCORM-specific tools like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate is welcome)
