We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Business Development Executive
Job Location: Ajao-Estate, Airport Road, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle.
  • The candidate should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
  • They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit proposals to clients.
  • Identify sales opportunities and convert them to business.
  • Prepare pre-plan and update CRM on each marketing visit.
  • Assist the marketing manager in local business development and getting new clients.
  • Develop market share with existing clients.
  • Build and leverage relationships with partners, to leverage their resources and solutions and provide an optimal customer experience.
  • Develop strategic territory plans which include the identification of high to medium potential accounts.
  • Analyze the market and establish a competitive advantage.
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are met.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related course.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector.
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deals closing and demonstrated sales success.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of proposal writing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of any CRM software is an added advantage.

Salary

  • N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
