Speedaf was established in 2019. We are a joint-venture company invested by Chinese leading express enterprises. Since founded, we continuously expand global network, develop and optimize products, improve customer experience, and introduce IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations.


Currently, we are building a local and cross border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Financial Manager
Job Location: Berger, Ogun

Job Description

  • Compile and analyze financial information for the organization on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis as may be required
  • Implement the company's cost Management strategies across board to ensure budget implementation
  • Appraise each project implemented against expense, cost and profits and advise as appropriate.
  • Prepares monthly VAT Transactions and periodic Withholding Tax Report to the Management.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and report same to management
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
  • Provide and interpret financial information from all business units of the organization
  • Manage the preparation and implementation of the company’s budget.
  • Report to Executive Management on variances on the established budget and the reasons for the variances
  • Work closely with another business unit to analyze their business in terms of feasibility, profit and loss and provide monthly findings at the monthly performance review meetings.
  • Ensure that all revenue is properly captured in our books and according to each business unit
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary & accounting reporting.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
  • Identify trends and development in competitive environments and present findings to executive management
  • Perform business modelling and forecasting for the entire business outlook
  • Define performance standards for all financial activities of the organization
  • Oversees the workability of the accounting functions including credit control, payables, receivables and cash management
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by FC/ MD

Qualifications
Education:

  • BSc or HND in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Must be a certified member of ICAN or ACCA
  • MBA will be an advantage

Job Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of proven work experience as Finance Manager a reputable organization and experience in the Logistic industry is an added advantage.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office and Accounting Software (SAGE Pastel)
  • Proven knowledge of International Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the industry and general
  • High attention to details
