Job Position: Audit Executive

Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete audits which are risk based and factually accurate in an efficient and effective manner.
• Implementation of audit schedule by visiting respective units and carrying out audit as per schedule; Perform timely follow up of issues to ensure agreed actions have been effectively implemented.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships across the organization and other control groups (i.e. Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Legal, etc.) Ensure sufficient ongoing review is being performed by all departments to review their processes and ensure effective controls are in place
• Conduct periodic reviews of the functional activities and submit reports on same in accordance with the approved audit plan and policies, process and audit manuals.
• Assist the organization in carrying out risk identification and exposures; and timely report to the appropriate authority with recommending improvements.
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
• Review of company’s financial statements and analyse the lack of process.
• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 2 - 3 years of work experience.
