Job Positition: Operation Manager

Job Brief

  • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Operation Manager for a thriving courier company

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of Mail and Parcel
  • Manage workshop operations to ensure road-worthy trucks are available for loading daily
  • Manage service hubs for consolidation of shipments and transportation to various terminals in Nigeria and Ghana
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
  • Implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and maximize productivity
  • Manage a diverse team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to drive a high-performing culture
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and TAT
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the courier or logistics industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making
  • Familiarity with industry software and technology, including logistics management systems.

Monthly Salary
N200,000 with performance bonus
