At mPharma, we start and end our day thinking about how we can enable patients to afford their medications. We’re a small but growing team of 350+ members, headquartered in Accra, Ghana, backed by mission-driven investors. We’ve joined hands with third-party payers, drug manufacturers and healthcare providers to develop products and services that directly reduce the costs of prescription drugs for patients. In only a few years, we’ve managed to provide low-cost, high-quality medicines to hundreds of thousands of patients across seven African countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi & Rwanda).

Position Description

  • mPharma is looking for a Marketing junior Associate, who will be responsible for marketing operations at our retail network.
  • The Field marketing associate will be responsible for implementing, and evaluating marketing activities in accordance with the annual marketing plan, and driving mPharma’s vision of making drugs affordable and accessible to every African.
  • He/She will also be responsible for ensuring successful marketing program launches and operations in Nigeria.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper distribution and maintenance of all marketing collaterals across all business units. Especially at the retail level
  • Monitors field marketing programs regularly to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a primary contact to address questions and inquiries regarding market-related activities.
  • Ensures marketing materials meet quality and brand standards
  • Assist with ensuring maximum visibility of all retail outlets nationwide by carrying out periodic signage audits.
  • Assist with the plan & coordinate all branch launches and activations/events.
  • Ensures proper archiving of all marketing materials- receipts, print collaterals, promotional materials etc.
  • Manages field marketing operations including product promotion and sale activities.
  • Ensures Documentation of Patients information and Clinical records across programs.
  • Monitors and manage in-store promotions
  • Carry out periodic customer surveys at activations and trade shows.
  • Create, write and execute content management efforts such as website content, sales collateral, blog posts, press releases, use cases, newsletters, and emails.
  • This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or another related field.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in marketing communications
