Job Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Software Quality Assurance Analyst executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards.
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Documenting tests according to required procedures
• Creation of new testing scripts and test plans
• Conducting post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Project management experience
• Mentoring junior QA/QC analysts
• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results
• Reporting and documenting technical issues
• Collaborating with the product team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
• Dev backlog grooming and issue tracking.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software.
