African Human Development Centre (AHDC) is a non-governmental, research and development organization dedicated to the development of African human resources. It was founded in 2004 as Global Wealth. The name Global Wealth had to give way to the new name African Human Development Centre (AHDC) in the course of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission. The organization was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2007 (CAC/IT/No.23790) under the Land Perpetual Act of 1990. It is also registered with Akwa Ibom State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development.

Our mission is to promote political and socio-economic development of women, children and people with disabilities through advocacy, capacity building and model service delivery. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Sales Agent

Job Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Brief Job Description

  • The individual in this role is required to visit Low-Cost Private Schools to distribute questionnaires that will be provided.
  • He/She is expected to have face-to-face conversations with school owners or headteachers to get the most accurate information for data building.
  • He/She is also responsible for contacting and organizing online meetings with organizations and school owners where necessary, per the organizational policies.

Personal Attributes:

  • This job requires the individual to have excellent interpersonal skills: persuasion, negotiation and communication (fluent in English and their regional dialect); ability to meet deadlines and must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Experience Required

  • School Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • 1 year of work experience.
  • Graduate education with a sales, marketing, or business discipline (desirable not essential)
  • Computer literate (adept use of Microsoft Office and Notion, in particular)
  • Experience working in sales, digital sales, marketing is preferable.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
