We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Fleet / Logistics Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Supervision of Drivers and Riders for maximum output.
  • Co-ordination with maintenance team for service and repair of vehicles and bikes.
  • Ensuring all vehicle and bikes’ particulars are valid.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports on the procurement and logistics support functions, identifying problems in operations and solutions proposed
  • Supervise Drivers and Riders, and maintaining the vehicle fleet and coordinating vehicle allocation for staffs, partners and visitors.
  • Maintain a general document-filing system of procurement and logistics documents
  • Receive and process online orders
  • Create and manage Customer’s orders and send invoices to Customers while confirming payments made
  • Create a report on Customer’s orders and liaise with the Operations Coordinator and Dispatch Riders/Drivers to schedule pick-up and deliveries.
  • Actively track orders after handing over to Dispatch Riders/Drivers
  • Update each order or transaction status on the Company’s website
  • Work with Drivers and Riders to resolve issues or challenges experienced on the field
  • Prepare and send daily reports to the Operation Coordinator.
  • Direct investigations to verify and resolve all complaints relating to fleet management or drivers conduct
  • Managing Drivers/Riders so they adhere to strict schedules.
  • Registering and licensing all vehicles/bikes of the company.
  • Scheduling regular vehicle/bike maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
  • Managing accident reports.
  • Utilizing GPS systems to monitor Drivers/Riders and track movement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of an HND / B.Sc. / BA in related discipline
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel and Power point)
  • Internet Savvy.
  • Experience in managing fleet and logistics.
  • Proficient in the use of Fleet management software (tracking application).
  • Basic Knowledge of Vehicle/bike Maintenance and Good Knowledge of road networks.
