Jela's Development Initiatives is a non-profit organization registered in Nigeria in 2019, to provide opportunities for any individual -irrespective of beliefs, gender or socio-economic background- to access potable water as well as sanitation and hygiene facilities, voluntary blood donors and mental healthcare while providing platforms for youth empowerment through volunteering.

Job Position: Finance Assistant

Overview


  • We are looking for someone who has prior experience working in the Finance Department of a nonprofit organisation to collaborate with other key officers of JDI and meet the accounting needs of the organisation.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be willing to learn and commit to the Organisation
  • Must have studied Accounting / Accountancy
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Must be resident in Abuja
  • Must have a laptop
  • Note that prior experience working/volunteering with a nonprofit will be an added advantage.

Benefits of the role

  • N35,000 Monthly to be increased to N50,000 Monthly after 3 months of satisfactory probabtion.
  • Mentorship and hands on learning.
