GBC Professional Services - Our client, a reputable Hotel with Five locations in Lagos State is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ensure that the financial transactions of the Organisation are accurately captured, classified, and posted with relevant approvals and coding instructions
  • Receivables Management
  • Adhere to financial and accounting control procedures of the Organisation.
  • Payables Management
  • Perform regular reviews of the ledgers and other books of entries and ensure relevant reconciliations
  • Ensure confidentiality and safekeeping of accounting records and documents
  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax etc.)

Education and Experience

  • Accounting Degree or equivalent post-qualification
  • Minimum of Four years of post qualification experience required.
  • Must have a professional qualification, ACA/ACCA or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the Hospitality industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP
  • Must have Audit Firm experience.

Key Competencies:

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with keeping financial records
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the year end close process
  • Excellent accounting software use
  • Must be a Team player and result oriented.
  • High level of Integrity and Honesty.
