Job Position: Legal & Corporate Services Intern


Job Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Reports to: Manager, Legal and Corporate Services

Role Summary

  • We are on the lookout for an Intern - Legal & HR personnel, to join our Legal & Corporate Services team for a three (3) month paid internship.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to accelerate their professional development in both Company Secretaryship & HR; gain rewarding, practical experience, whilst also helping us create an exceptional workplace and assist in the overall growth of the Organization.

Role Responsibilities
Role and Task Complexities:

  • Prepare/ review and draft contracts, agreements and any other documents as shall be needed by the company
  • Legal compliance and research to ensure the legal department stays up to date on legal trends.
  • Manage and advice MECA and its subsidiaries on legal transactions
  • Data entry and assistance with project/ program coordination
  • Undertake Human Resource/Organizational Support.
  • Other duties specifically assigned and coordination of special projects.

Educational Qualification, Knowledge and Competences

  • A Master’s Degree in Law, Human Resources or a related field preferably
  • A First Degree (2.1) in Law, Human Resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
  • Strong organizational skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio)
