We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance Specialist

Job Location: Head Office, Lagos

Job Purpose

• Perform various accounting and administrative activities related to ensuring prompt processing of all billable costs of the company.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of fixed asset schedule and tagging of fixed assets on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Accounting of fixed asset movements; acquisition, transfer and disposals.
• Calculate and account for asset depreciation on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of journal vouchers, debit and credit notes and ensure vendors’ reconciliations.
• Monthly review of forex gain / loss and reconciliation of foreign vendors’ accounts.
• Accounting for Goods in Transit (GIT) with accurate and timely report preparation.
• Checking landing costs for accuracy before passing them on to the appropriate plants and properly accounting on a regular basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or any other related field.
• Minimum of three years of working experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of NAV Dynamics or any other ERP software and Microsoft Excel
• Membership of ICAN, or ACA is an added advantage.
• Required skills: strong numerical and analytical thinking.
