Job Position: Managing Director

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description


  • The Managing Director will manage the business and closely engage with key stakeholders, including but not limited to the Company’s Board, Staff, Partners and Regulators as required by the Company.
  • The Preferred candidate will also assist with the evaluation of potential acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • The Managing Director will report to the CEO of the Holding Company.

Responsibilities
In fulfilling his or her responsibilities, the successful Candidate will:

  • Establish and maintain healthy relationship with stakeholders including but not limited to customers, regulators, network and license partners, staff, and financial institutions.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive Strategy in line with the business goals and strategic objectives of the Company.
  • Meet and surpass set Sales and Revenue Target.
  • Develop and implement short and long-term investment strategies, policies and operating procedures.
  • Identify and secure suitable sources of long-term capital for the Company.
  • Monitor operational effectiveness and effect changes required for improvement.
  • Manage relationship with investors.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Company by working with the Board of Directors and Management team to establish short-, medium- and long-term goals, strategies, plans and policies.
  • Ensure that budget forecast in terms of sales, revenues, costs, profit as well as market share for the Company is achieved.
  • Exercise requisite competence over the Company’s financial performance by defining realistic yet ambitious annua annual budgetary projection.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business, Economics, Insurance, Marketing, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ senior level management experience.
  • Professional qualification in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Membership of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
  • Proven experience as Managing Director or in a similar role.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive, meet and exceed set Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Position: Medical Director
Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing medical personnel and operations, including supervising all providers, ensuring risk management and quality of care.
  • The preferred candidate will also provide leadership and organisation to implement and improve the policies and objectives of the organisation.
  • The Medical Director will report to the CEO of the Holding Company.

Responsibilities
In fulfilling his or her responsibilities, the successful candidate will:

  • Direct and oversee the operations and strategic planning of the organization's medical initiatives and programs.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines for care designed to improve outcomes while managing costs.
  • Develop policies and procedures for Medical Services Department and ensure staff is trained.
  • Establish measurable performance expectations (productivity, quality of care, timely completion of medical records and patient care, charting and other administrative duties, etc), provide supervision, coaching, counseling, evaluation, and discipline.
  • Promote a motivational environment for providers and his/her Medical Department staff to work as a cohesive and mutually supportive group.
  • Review all medical record release requests.
  • Participate in and provide clinical perspective to strategic planning and annual planning.
  • Participate in the budget planning and recommendations pertinent to medical activities including plans and projections for staff support and equipment as appropriate.
  • Any other duties assigned by CEO.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in similar role and at least five (5) years’ senior level management experience.
  • Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans.
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence business.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
  • Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
